This site celebrates the joy of tea cosies and some of the eclectic interests of tea cosy lovers. Tea cosy? A common every day object that doesn’t seem very interesting to anyone other than your grandmother and her knitting club. Many people see tea cosies as an unfashionable accessory for the home which should be shoved in your kitchen 'third draw down' with all the other bits and pieces we never use or donated to your local charity store. Wrong, in fact the history of the tea cosy is rather interesting. I am a proud supporter of the tea cosy and I'm not afraid to say it. I hope that a meander through this site will either help strengthen your resolve or sway your ideas of the tea cosy world SO.....Make a pot of tea, pour yourself a cuppa, pop a cosy on the pot and sit down and see where it takes you!
